Job Description Summary: We seek a Director with a strategic commercial mindset to lead Fota Wildlife Park's senior management team, ensuring commercial objectives are met and the Wildlife Park's conservational, educational, and animal welfare ethos is upheld.
Job Description:
- Lead the senior management team and assume overall accountability for all operations and activities.
- Develop and implement the Wildlife Park's long-term strategic goals.
- Hold overall responsibility for all stakeholder relations, both internal and external.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership within the Zoo, Wildlife Park, Conservation, Animal Welfare, and Public Amenity sector.
- Appropriate primary degree in Zoology, Veterinary Medicine, or a related discipline.
- Direct operations across all activities, including animal welfare, capital development, marketing and business development, and stakeholder relations.
