Job Description
Job Purpose The Director of Nursing will be responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the professional leadership of all Nursing and Allied Staff in the Hospital, ensuring there is effective professional practice in accordance with statutory, professional and clinical governance requirements. The post holder takes a lead role in developing and implementing patient safety systems and processes within the Hospital. They take the lead role in ensuring continuous improvement in patient experience and patient satisfaction across the Hospital. The post holder will play a significant role in the maintenance and development of the culture and excellence of the Hospital as a patient centred institution committed to the highest standards of safe patient care and clinical and professional training. The appointee will establish, implement and maintain clear cut efficient, effective working relationships and communications within the Hospital and with all other activities or institutions with whom the Hospital is involved. In addition, the post holder will contribute to the development of the Hospital Campus and lead the development and implementation of nurse quality improvement initiatives within a rapidly changing environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
