Job Description
Seeking a Director of Nursing with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in nursing to oversee high-quality care for residents in Dublin, Galway, Meath, Tipperary, and Cork.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for residents.
- Monitor resident health status and coordinate medical care as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Conduct staff training and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in implementing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and providing compassionate care to seniors.
