Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is recruiting a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in a beautiful residential setting located just south of Dublin. Our nursing home, with 66 well-appointed rooms, is committed to providing exceptional care and creating a warm, supportive environment for both residents and staff. As the DON, youll lead our nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care and helping to shape the future of our facility. Requirements Minimum 3 Years of experience as registered nurse in the last 6 years in care of the older person. Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Post registration in management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum). Post Graduate diploma in Gerontology is desirable. Working knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines. Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills. Sound decision making ability and results driven. To provide support, advice, and guidance to the Home by way of an on-call arrangement. To co-manage and support all departments including nursing, household, maintenance, and catering staff. Good appreciation of finance issues.
