Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is recruiting Director of Nursing (DON) position for an established and renowned group of Nursing Homes in Co. Meath. Its a brand – new purpose – built residence with the room of 96 residents, along with their three – storey residence offers airy, modern and spacious accommodation and a host of living and activity spaces, surrounding a pleasant, landscaped courtyard garden. Requirements Minimum 3 Years of experience as registered nurse in the last 6 years in care of the older person. Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Post registration in management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum). Post Graduate diploma in Gerontology is desirable. Working knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines. Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills. Sound decision making ability and results driven. To provide support, advice, and guidance to the Home by way of an on-call arrangement. To co-manage and support all departments including nursing, household, maintenance, and catering staff. Good appreciation of finance issues.
