Job Description
Operations Director
Mercy University Hospital (MUH) is a leading provider of healthcare services, treating over 140,000 patients annually. The hospital employs circa 1,550 staff and has an annual operating budget in excess of €150m.
The Operations Director will report to the Chief Executive Officer of Mercy University Hospital and hold corporate management responsibility as a member of the Executive Management Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical and non-clinical support teams in the delivery of excellent, high-quality services to patients.
- Develop and implement clinical service redesign and improvement, ensuring the hospital remains at the forefront of service delivery and clinical service innovation.
- Continually seek to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of services to support the provision of excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Significant experience working at a senior management level in a large complex healthcare organisation.
- Developed knowledge of managing multi-disciplinary professional teams.
- Experience of People/Performance management & budgetary Management.
