Support the Director of Real Estate in developing and growing client relationships and presence in Dublin and wider region, driving business development, and managing commissions to meet client and business objectives.

Job Description
The primary focus of this role is to support the Director of Real Estate in developing and growing client relationships and presence in Dublin and wider region


Key responsibilities include:


  • Business Development: Grow client portfolio and bid management support
  • Contribute to diversification of service offerings to clients
  • Support Director in identifying and recruiting new team members and developing teams to deliver commissions
  • Lead programme and project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery
  • Manage commissions and resources efficiently to contribute to overall profitability of the business
  • Contribute to overall strategic and operational management of the business, with a focus on Dublin operation
  • Be responsible for business development/marketing tasks and support Director in achieving real estate business plan

Key Accountabilities

  • Financial: + Ensure internal reporting tools are up to date with accurate fee/cost forecasts, jobs open/close, etc.
+ Review and process sub-consultant invoices in a timely manner
+ Identify any variation/opportunity in fee income projection
+ Manage debt control effectively
+ Prompt time sheet completion


  • Operational Management: + Manage commissions under control to meet client and business objectives
+ Lead and facilitate cross-functional project team
+ Advise at a strategic level at project conception stage
+ Optimise project staff utilisation
+ Deliver skills necessary to meet technical objectives for commission
+ Comply with Business Management System requirements
+ Comply with T&T risk management processes
+ Ensure contracts for services for commissions under control are in place with all clients/sub-consultants in line with group policy


  • People (HRM): + Maintain own learning and development plan up to date
+ Develop own professional competency level to agreed targets
+ Attend all training courses as identified in L&D plan
+ Ensure personal CVs are updated regularly and posted to Peoples Pages
+ Coach/mentor junior staff as directed/agreed in their L&D plans


  • Marketing and

Business Development:
+ Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report such opportunities to Director
+ Proactive in identifying and pursuing new clients/new business
+ Assist in production of bid documentation
+ Ensure project case study, photograph, and project CV files are kept up to date
+ Identify ways in which project management products and services can be improved and refer ideas to Director

* Internal Management Accountabilities: + Knowledge management:
Ensure key information and learning generated from each project is input into Turner & Townsend internal database
+ Financial management:
Ensure prompt client invoicing and utilise FMS to monitor project's financial status
+ Process improvement:
Identify ways in which internal systems and processes can be improved and refer ideas to Director

  • Projects are managed to right quality standards and are completed efficiently, on time, and to budget
  • Project delivery meets client's objectives and is in line with conditions of appointment

  • Internal financial status of all projects is effectively monitored
  • Key information and data is effectively cascaded and appropriately retained
