Job Title: Director of Client Software Engineering
SiriusXM is seeking a senior leader to join their Client Software Engineering team in Ireland. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering applications across the company's device ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the application development technologies and toolchains used to power SiriusXM and Pandora applications.
- Empower developers to boost their autonomy, efficiency, and ability to contribute to parallelized work across repos, applications, or libraries.
- Ensure a great user experience by preventing errors, degradations, and performance issues.
- Lead and grow an efficient, high-performing, and diverse software development organization with a culture of agile development.
- Foster an inclusive culture for all team members.
- Ensure high consumer satisfaction through the development and operation of highly performant and reliable web technologies on large-scale websites.
- Attract and retain high-caliber Software Engineering talent to deliver on SiriusXM's Product Roadmap.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in a technical organization.
- Proven track record of delivering and maintaining software at scale to millions of active users.
- Experience leading teams that build client applications at scale.
- Proven ability to recruit and retain world-class engineers.
