Seeking experienced Dog Trainers to provide board and train services for ITK9's comprehensive program.
ITK9 is a leading provider of dog training services, seeking dedicated and experienced Dog Trainers to join our team as independent contractors. If you are passionate about dog training and possess the skills to handle a variety of breeds and behaviors, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host 2-3 dogs in your home for training, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
- Provide regular updates, pictures, and videos to clients, keeping them informed of their dog's progress.
- Submit daily progress updates to ITK9 via video, ensuring seamless communication.
- Utilize a range of training tools, including e-collars, prong collars, and flat collars, to achieve desired results.
- Train dogs on on- and off-leash obedience, addressing behavior modification needs, including anxiety and aggression.
Professional Interactions:
- Engage with clients and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Commit to ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in dog training, including on- and off-leash obedience.
- Ability to handle and train both small and large breeds.
- Skilled in using various training tools and techniques.
- Experience in behavior modification for issues such as anxiety and aggression.
- Excellent communication skills for client updates and interactions.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in dog training.
