Job Description


The Fanagan Group are currently seeking to recruit experienced Drivers on a casual basis to join our driving team.
Competitive rates of pay and flexible hours are available to suit your work-life balance.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of professional driving experience and hold a full clean driving license. They must consistently show a high level of sensitivity, professionalism, empathy, compassion, and understanding when engaging with bereaved families.

Purpose of the Role
To deliver on our brand promise of Excellence in Funeral Care by providing supplemental cover for the driving and logistics teams as required.

Experience and Skills Required Essential:

  • A full current clean driving license
  • A minimum of 24 months professional driving experience in the funeral industry or service industry
  • Excellent driving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Emotional resilience
  • Must be empathetic and compassionate
  • Must be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Good personal deportment
  • Must be able to carry a coffin and, if acting as a bearer at a funeral, be able to lower a coffin into a grave and take instruction from senior group personnel
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of City
  • Knowledge of Funeral Industry
