Your main duties as a Hotel Duty Manager will be: Promote a helpful and professional image to the guests Actively work with and assist with the management of the hotels daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department Assist with all Hotel departments when they are busy Ensure prompt resolution of escalated customer complaints Handle various tasks at one time while maintaining professionalism and a calm approach Make sound decisions in a fast-paced and busy environment Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments within and what they consist of Cover Reception and food & beverage departments where needed Overseeing and ensuring that OH&S and HACCP standards are maintained and adhered to Who we are looking for A candidate with: At least 2 years experience in the hospitality industry in a similar role Exceptional customer care and problem resolution skills Proven experience of organising and managing a team and delegating tasks effectively Enthusiasm and commitment with a strong commitment to quality, high standards, service and customer care A focus on quality and continuous improvement and the ability to implement change Excellent people skills Flexibility About the Sandymount Hotel The Sandymount Hotel is a 4-star, award-winning hotel based in the residential suburb of Sandymount, Dublin 4.
