Iveagh Garden Hotel, Duty Manager - Food & Beverage (Daytime and Evening Roles available) The Iveagh garden 4* Hotel The Role: The Duty Manager position at this superior 4* property is very hands on and requires a good level of organisational skills, exceptional Guest Service and technical ability during a busy hotel operation. As Duty Manager you will lead by example and maintain the high standards expected in this property. Working in association with the Operations Management and all Heads of department you will operate on a shift basis covering an assortment of patterns. Early shifts start at 7am (Breakfast & Lunch Operations) and a late shift would end at approximately 1am (late Bars) . Shifts will include weekends and operating across the hotel departments; the Duty Manager for F&B will be a key contact at the hotel and ensure all areas of F&B service are facilitated and operating to a very high standard and with a very hands on approach. The Duty Manager will oversee the compliance and security of the building in association with the Operations and General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background in 4* hotel operations and ideally will have developed their skills in a strong Food & Beverage or operating as an Assistant Manager in a busy hotel department or Duty Management with a flair for Food & Beverage service. A friendly & approachable personality is a prerequisite to this role and candidates must display excellent guest service skills, fluent English and a very high standard of personal presentation.
