Hotel Operations Manager

Manage the day-to-day operations of a 3-4 star hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and staff productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate hotel operations during scheduled shifts
  • Manage and motivate staff to maintain high productivity levels
  • Provide ongoing training on coffee, wine, and food items
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
  • Deliver superior guest services and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback
  • Control costs and minimize waste
  • Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
  • Comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a manager in a relevant property
  • Be a hands-on, natural leader who enjoys leading from the front
  • Passion for quality food and drink
  • Strong communication and initiative skills
  • Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Level-headed, sensible, and consistent nature
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure with a good sense of humour
  • Approachable with excellent people skills
