Hotel Operations Manager
Manage the day-to-day operations of a 3-4 star hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and staff productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate hotel operations during scheduled shifts
- Manage and motivate staff to maintain high productivity levels
- Provide ongoing training on coffee, wine, and food items
- Respond to customer queries and complaints
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
- Deliver superior guest services and ensure customer satisfaction
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback
- Control costs and minimize waste
- Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a manager in a relevant property
- Be a hands-on, natural leader who enjoys leading from the front
- Passion for quality food and drink
- Strong communication and initiative skills
- Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Level-headed, sensible, and consistent nature
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Ability to work flexibly under pressure with a good sense of humour
- Approachable with excellent people skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong understanding of business management
