The Role: The Duty Manager willassistin the delivery of hotel revenue and profit growth by maximising sales opportunities andensuring that all areas within the property are running smoothly and that the presentation,cleanlinessand security of the propertyis to the highest standards at all times. Reporting to: As a Duty Manager of The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa,you well report directly tothe F&B Operations Manager and General Manager. The Hotel: The four-star Lough Rea Hotel & Spa is a member of the S Hotel group, comprising of 91 guest bedrooms that also boasts one of County Galway finest function rooms. Additional outlets include excellent Bar and Restaurant facilities that produces some of the finest dining experiences in the west of Ireland, our luxurious Shore Island Spa and magnificent Roof Top Garden with its own cocktail bar overlooking Loughrea Lake and the Galway countryside. Responsible for: Efficient operation and security of all areas within theProperty. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that you receive a handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that youare aware of any events orspecial requirements. Maintain a visible presence in the Front of House areas and be the primary point of contactforall customers. Carry out a check on each department so that they are aware that you are the Manager onDuty. Ensure that staffing is adequate in all areas. Deal with all VIP customers and make sure that their rooms are checked and that they haveallthe requirementsrequested. Ensure that liquor licensing legislation are followed according to Company policy andprocedures. Carry out security / fire walk and complete relevant records asrequired. Act as Fire Marshall while on duty and be thoroughly familiar with emergency procedures andalarms. Ensure that all checklists and reports are completed by the relevant person before the end ofthe shift. Ensure that you complete a handover to the next Manager at the end of your shift to ensureawareness of any issues overnight that need to be followed up. 2 Years F&B Supervisor Experience required.
