Job Title: E3 Assistant Professor in Power and Propulsion Technologies Pay Scale: Lecturer (2012) Merged Closing Date: 08-Nov-2024 12:00 Position Overview: The School of Engineering seeks to make the Tenure Track appointment of an Assistant Professor in Power and Propulsion Technologies. The purpose of this post is to deliver world-class education and build an internationally significant research programme in the field of zero carbon technologies for future power and propulsion. Responsibilities: Deliver taught modules at undergraduate level as part of the BAI/MAI Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering programme. Teach specific power and propulsion modules for the current Zero Carbon Technology programme, offered at Postgraduate Master’s, Diploma and Certificate levels. Contribute significantly to Trinity’s Sustainable Aviation Research Centre, established with the support of Ryanair. Post Status: Tenure Track - This position is a Tenure Track position which is 5 years in the first instance; permanency is subject to satisfying the tenure requirements. Salary: Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale (109BN) commensurate with qualifications/experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy (€41,000 to €98,564 per annum).
