Job Description

Seeking EHS Advisors for Dublin region projects, assisting in compliance, risk management, and incident investigation.

As an EHS Advisor, you will assist the EHS Manager in achieving critical success factors, including ensuring compliance with health, safety, and workplace legislation. You will work effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team to implement the Integrated Management System and ensure the site is adequately set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suirs Height Risk Activities (HRAs) and ensuring they are identified and effectively controlled on site.
  • Assisting with the development of Risk Assessment & Method Statements and SOPs.
  • Providing training and communication to site personnel.
  • Becoming familiar with and promoting the Suir Way and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
  • Reporting and investigating incidents when they occur and ensuring root causes are identified, mitigated, and communicated.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Health and Safety Diploma/Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines and have a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
