EHS Coordinator- Cork Monday Thursday 8:30am 5pm / Friday 8:30- 3:30pm This opportunity focuses on providing effective co-ordination support to the EHS department. It requires active participation in the maintenance and development of key EHS programs. This role will be based in Cork, with travel required to sites in the Cork area. This role offers a highly competitive salary, company van, expenses, early Friday finish, and 25 days annual leave. The successful individual will have the following: Minimum of a Diploma in a EHS related qualification (NEBOSH would be advantageous but not essential) 2+ Years experience in a construction related role (experience in a Pharma related background desirable, but not essential) Excellent communication skills Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Good IT skills- MS office suite. The ability to multi-task and with excellent attention to detail. Supporting the EHS department, responsibilities of the role will include: Actively participate in the maintenance and development of key EHS programs Identify training needs & coordinate training courses Production of monthly management communication, site bulletins and functional performance board metrics Handle enquires from all internal stakeholders on EHS issues Provide updates on the requirements of Irish/EU legislation and corporate standards Manage the incident/near miss reporting program and track & publish metrics. Attend sites to ensure safety management system is being implemented.
