As an EHS Engineer at Solventum, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our new Health Care Company. Key Responsibilities: * Project Management: + Initiates and completes activities leading to new/improved safety methods which have significant impact potential at project level within the assigned area of responsibility. + Participates in training, audits, incident reporting, assessments, and safety projects. * Communication: + Develops a network of support to facilitate completion of assignments. + Provides safety consulting services on task-oriented programs. + Analyzes and reports key health & safety data to senior level co-workers. + Collaborates with management to define project parameters and develop correction plans. * Leadership: + Leads all activities relating to Risk Management by managing the site risk assessment schedule and driving continuous improvement to reduce risks on site. + Provides technical assistance and guidance to others. + Determines processes relating to Management of Change to ensure EHS requirements have been considered for all new projects. * Corporate Initiatives: + Creates an EHS excellence culture by promoting and supporting the sites sustainability and environmental management program. + Builds a working knowledge of key corporate initiatives. + Supports business units and EHS Champions to interpret, understand EHS requirements through Tier Board process and monitoring compliance to EHS programs. Requirements: * Strong background experience and/or EHS degree/NEBOSH General Certificate * Strong understanding and implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements * Engineering skills/qualifications is an advantage * Experience with innovative occupational health, wellbeing and behavioural programmes * At least 2-3 years' experience, ideally working within a busy manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical environment * High level of interpersonal skills Additional Information: * Work location: Athlone, Ireland * Travel: Some travel is expected * Salary: €high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package * Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status About Solventum Solventum is a leading global diversified health technology company with proven category leadership, exposure to attractive end-markets, innovation mindset driving improved patient outcomes, and collaborative customer relationships.
