Job Description

As an EHS Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe delivery of projects for a leading engineering services company.

As an EHS Officer, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to safely deliver the completion of projects.

Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining the company's Safety Management System and CMS System.

You will provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager, ensure site personnel comply with site safety and company requirements, and implement and maintain company's Safety Management System.

You will undertake site inspections/audits, identify training needs, and report requirements to the project EHS Manager.

You will deliver Health and Safety Inductions, weekly Toolbox Talks, and organise and chair Safety Meetings.

You will review sub-contractors' Method Statements/Risk Assessments, assist with accident/incident investigation reports, and submit weekly reports.

You will carry out daily site walks, report findings to project supervisors, and advise and assist the site teams in drafting Safe Plans of Action.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in the Construction Sector
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well in a team environment
