Join a global multinational as an EHS specialist on an 11-month contract, developing and implementing comprehensive EHS programs in a state-of-the-art facility in Carlow.
About the Job
- Design and implement critical EHS programs, including risk assessments, chemical management, waste and water handling, industrial hygiene, and high-risk work protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental protection standards.
- Partner with departments to ensure safety regulations are consistently met and upheld to the highest standard.
- Lead and influence safety initiatives, including incident investigation, contractor management, and emergency response protocols.
- Be responsible for health and safety, protecting both employees and the environment.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in environmental health & safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years experience in EHS, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or Biologics sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and influence cross-functional teams.
- Technically knowledgeable across a broad range of EHS topics and have a passion for safety.
