We are searching for a talented and experienced Lead Programmer to join our brand-new studio in the Dublin area. As a founding member, you will influence the creation of a world-class team and their debut title.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a code team and mentoring less experienced programmers.
- Developing technical design specifications and implementing them.
- Designing, developing, testing, and implementing systems and game code.
- Collaborating with designers, artists, and other personnel to create high-quality products.
- Mentoring and conducting regular one-to-ones with project engineering teams.
- Estimating tasks and delivering high-quality code on schedule.
- Performing code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Communicating effectively with clients and maintaining strong relationships.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proficiency in C/C++ with at least 6 years of experience.
- 5 years of experience working in the video games industry.
- 4 years of experience in console or mobile programming.
- Experience working on at least 2 shipped games.
