Electrical Construction Manager Job Description

Summary: Experienced Electrical Construction Manager sought for a new state-of-the-art Data Centre site in Europe, responsible for managing site safety, QA, project schedule, costs, and day-to-day operations.

We are delighted to assist one of Europe's leading tier-one contractors in searching for an Electrical Construction Manager to work on a new state-of-the-art Data Centre site in Eemshaven, near Groningen.

Our client provides construction solutions across numerous sectors, including data centres, pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors, fire protection, and technical support services.

The Role:

  • Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the project team and the Safety Advisor
  • Management of Site QA in conjunction with QA Manager
  • Manage the project schedule in conjunction with the project team and project manager
  • Management of all costs associated with Project
  • Direct management of Engineering project team
  • Management of sub-contractor activities
  • Assistance with the close out of all project items

Experience Required:

  • Good strong knowledge of the full design and construction process
  • Ability to control and manage people and programs
  • A trade background or a relevant third level qualification
  • Proven record of co-ordination and managing large projects
  • A minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Construction Manager

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
  • Ability to drive a large-scale project
  • Construction background

Computer skills - Windows, MS Office and MS Project
