Job Description

Electrical Contracts Manager role requires leading project development, implementation, and completion within specified programme, managing team, and overseeing project coordination and operation.

We are a leading engineering services company with a proven track record of high quality, customer focused project delivery for over 130 years.

Our core divisions include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection, and other services such as Waste to Energy, Specialist Lift, and BIM.

As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project milestones are achieved and projects are completed successfully.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Division Manager
  • Managing all financial and management aspects of the project
  • Overseeing project team, labour control, and coordination
  • Managing schedule, QA/Cx, and Health and Safety
  • Liaising with Clients and key project stakeholders
  • Working directly with the Director to expand the business through tendering and negotiating new work

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Electrical trade background advantageous
  • Experience in delivery of Semi-conductor projects advantageous
  • Ability to lead and mentor a cross-functional team
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Revit would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
