Electrical Design Engineer (Mid-Senior) sought for a dynamic environment where you will work on cutting-edge projects, developing your skills and knowledge in electrical design, installation, and commissioning for bespoke and turnkey solutions.
We are hiring for a recognised leader in High Voltage and Medium Voltage engineering services across Ireland, UK, and Europe, based in Naas, Kildare.
Competitive salary range of €60k - €80k+ DOE, with yearly salary reviews, hybrid working options, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings, designing panel schematic drawings, and writing technical reports.
Requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, 5 years+ relevant experience, and familiarity with HV substation design.

- Prepare engineering drawings (substation layouts, elevations, lightning zones, etc.).
- Design panel schematic drawings and protection/control schemes.
- Prepare equipment specifications and conduct technical evaluations of equipment offers.
- Write technical reports and collaborate with teams on key projects.
Key qualities include strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, 5 years+ relevant experience, and familiarity with HV substation design are essential.
