Location: Automated Systems & Controls, Macroom, Co. Cork Job Type: Full-Time (On Site) Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical Draughtsman to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and drawings using AutoCAD, Eplan, and Cubic software. Training will be provided for Eplan and Cubic, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates eager to develop their technical skills in electrical design. Key Responsibilities: Create and modify electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and layouts using AutoCAD, Eplan, and Cubic software. Develop accurate electrical panel and wiring diagrams for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate concepts into detailed technical drawings. Revise and update existing drawings as necessary, incorporating changes or improvements. Maintain an organized filing system for drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Assist in the preparation of Bill of Materials (BoM) and other project-related documentation. Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other team members to clarify technical requirements and resolve design issues. Participate in project meetings to discuss design updates, timelines, and deliverables. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience with AutoCAD, Eplan, and/or Cubic is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with electrical systems, schematics, and industrial wiring diagrams. Basic understanding of electrical standards and regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication skills and the ability to interpret engineering notes and sketches.
