Job Description
Electrical Engineer/Industrial Electrician sought for a leading global precision engineering and pharmaceutical company.
Assemble, install, and test electrical systems/components, ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and test electrical systems/components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues during development and testing stages.
- Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee commissioning of new machinery at customer sites.
- Provide on-site technical support and training to customer personnel.
- Create and refine detailed electrical schematics and layouts for new machinery.
- Select and integrate appropriate electrical components based on machine specifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure designs and installations adhere to EN 60204 standards and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of electrical designs and modifications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proficient in using CAD software for creating schematics.
- In-depth knowledge of machine safety standards and practices.
- 3-5 years experience in electrical design and practical on-site experience.
- Able to work with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Flexibility to travel.
