Hitachi Energy seeks a Primary Electrical Engineer to support the Power Grids Grid Integration Business in Ireland.

The role involves electrical design works, coordinating engineering assignments, and ensuring compliance with standards, procedures, and policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Technical contribution: Acts as a technical lead, approves design deliverables, and reviews project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
- Sales support: Assists in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs.
- Contract management: Supports Contract Managers in issuing claims and provides quality solutions as per customer requirement.
- Planning and control: Creates work plans and cost estimates, reviews and approves scope, budget, and schedule for assignments.
- Risk and opportunity management: Creates and executes strategies for risk and opportunity management.
- Customer: Works with the customer to shape and deliver solutions and seeks customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
- Supply chain management: Collaborates with the Supply Chain function to ensure technical requirements are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers.
- Technical leadership and knowledge sharing: Represents function in standardization committees and acts as technical specialist/adviser to senior management.
