Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Dublin. This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills to lead design engineering activities for medium to high complexity projects.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Technical Lead: Approve design deliverables, review project documents for conformity and quality assurance, and anticipate and solve problems.

  • Sales Support: Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects, providing bills of materials and estimated engineering hours.

  • Contract Management: Support Contract Managers in issuing claims and providing quality solutions within budget and contract.

  • Planning and Control: Create work plans and cost estimates, review and approve scope, budget, and schedule for assignments, and ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.

  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Create and execute strategies for risk and opportunity management, identify and manage contract risks, and report outstanding issues to management.

  • Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seek customer feedback to drive improvements, and attend project meetings.

  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers.

  • Technical Leadership and Knowledge Sharing: Represent the function in standardization committees, communicate with conferences, and act as a technical specialist/adviser to senior management.

  • Process and Tool Review: Review, develop, and document quality standards, processes, tools, and techniques, and ensure engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements.
