Job Description
Electrical Engineer required for a large M&E contractor on a project in Dublin and Cork, working across various sectors including Pharmaceutical, Power, and Data Centres.
Our client has projects in Ireland, Europe, and the UK, offering a range of opportunities for Electrical Engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Support project engineering teams, overseeing electrical engineering development and working with clients to define project requirements and technical solutions.
- Lead design processes, including pre-construction activities, service coordination, and technical submittals.
- Assist in improving the QA system and execute project reviews.
- Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and project bid teams.
- Offer off-site technical support to construction teams and travel to project sites as needed.
- Develop and support commissioning strategies and troubleshooting activities.
- Identify and implement Sustainable and Value Engineering Solutions in project design.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and value engineering.
- Manage procurement from equipment inquiries to delivery, maintaining a comprehensive audit trail.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4 Years+ experience within the engineering and construction industry.
- Previous experience in the Data Centre, Semi-Conductor or Pharma sector would be an advantage.
- Good IT skills, particularly in Auto CAD, Amtech, Dialux and Microsoft Office Packages.
- Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
