Electrical Engineer Electrical Engineers required to join a large M&E contractor on a project in Dublin and Cork. Our client has projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK and work across many sectors including Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, and Data Centres. Responsibilities/Duties: Support project engineering teams, overseeing electrical engineering development and working with clients to define project requirements and technical solutions. Lead design processes, including pre-construction activities, service coordination, and technical submittals. Assist in improving the QA system and execute project reviews. Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and project bid teams. Offer off-site technical support to construction teams and travel to project sites as needed. Develop and support commissioning strategies and troubleshooting activities. Identify and implement Sustainable and Value Engineering Solutions in project design. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and value engineering. Manage procurement from equipment inquiries to delivery, maintaining a comprehensive audit trail. Qualifications / Skills: A Degree in Electrical Engineering. 4 Years+ experience within the engineering and construction industry. Previous experience in the Data Centre, Semi-Conductor or Pharma sector would be an advantage. Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux and Microsoft Office Packages. Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Benefits: Salary €65,000 to €75,000 DOE. Excellent career progression opportunities. Full Benefits package on application.
