Job Description
Electrical Engineers are sought to join a leading Irish contractor in Athlone, providing electrical and instrumentation support in large projects.
This organisation is a specialist in turnkey packages for the design, supply, and installation of electrical and instrumentation projects, operating across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and issuing technical submittals, communicating technical issues, managing supply chains, and coordinating installations.
Requirements include a BSc in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline, knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Description
- Review and issue technical submittals in line with project specifications.
- Communicate technical issues as they arise with the project management team.
- Responsible for supply chain and vendor engagement.
- Working with 3D drawing models.
- Contributing to the design process.
- Co-ordination of installation inclusive of scheduling and tracking of the project.
- Compile all handover documentation during project, ready for submission at the end of the project.
- Design of electrical services.
- Confidence in your ability to work autonomously.
- Attend meetings and communicate with clients and project team members to establish their needs.
Requirements
- BSc Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Auto CAD and MS Project.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
