Our global pharmaceutical client, situated on the scenic west coast of Ireland, seeks an E&I Engineer for their advanced pharmaceutical facility. Nestled in Connacht, adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean, the historic region blends Irish culture with modern amenities in a vibrant seaside town boasting bars, restaurants, and water sports. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with European electrical standards and ETCI regulations in designing, maintaining, and upgrading site electrical systems. Actively develop and maintain an electrical network throughout the plant. Stay updated on the latest technologies and electrical standards. Manage and coordinate site efforts for planning and executing electrical power down/up, ensuring GMP and safety compliance with minimal impact on site activities. Liaise with the Electrical utility company to maintain the 10kV supply, meeting ESB Network standards, specifications, and safety requirements. Keep personal training up to date and complete all required site training. Provide information for Technical Electrical SOP for the site. Review electrical works on site and complete preventative maintenance job plans for electrical systems. Document electrical testing on sites as per PPM. Complete ATEX inspections and make recommendations for repairs. Execute and support multidiscipline projects. Commission and validate electrical equipment. Specify and install instruments meeting plant scheduling, quality regulatory requirements. Liaise with Production to ensure correct selection and installation of electrical systems for optimal plant performance. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
