Job Description
Electrical Project Engineer required for 12-month contract role with a Biotech client in Clonmel, executing strategic projects and capital/expense initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implementation of New Energy Management Systems
- Design and selection of Instrumentation for site process systems
- Design of electrical Distribution, general services, and Electrical Panels
- Preparation of procurement specifications and quotation evaluations
- Collaboration with team members on electrical elements of project design and tracking/reporting progress
- Championing a strong safety culture and ensuring top performance in capital/expense projects
- Support for Engineering Projects across all stages
Requirements:
- Minimum 3rd level qualification (Level 8) in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an Electrical Engineering Role
- Knowledge of working in an ATEX environment
- Experience in designing Low Voltage Distribution, Lighting systems, Small Power, Generators, UPS, and Fire safety and Detection systems
- Proficient in engineering project management tools, financial management, and working within budgets
