SSA are working with a market-leading M&E Contractor seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team based in Co. Tipperary The Role - Electrical Engineer working as part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team. - Provide technical design expertise to all projects covering all aspects of High and Low voltage equipment and control and protection systems. - A strong ethical approach to safety, quality and sustainable design. - Implement specific site and company quality & design standards. - Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams. - Specification, selection, and procurement of the range of equipment. - Preparation and interpretation of technical specifications and enquiry documentation - Assist with the preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue. - Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports and communicate any issues / risks appropriately. - Ensure all work is carried out in adherence to health and safety standards such as preparing method statements and risk assessments. The Person - You are qualified to degree level or equivalent in Electrical engineering discipline. - You should have 3-5 years experience in a similar role with experience working in the power and renewables sector. You should also have a knowledge of applicable electrical engineering standards and current industry best practices. - You are customer focused with strong communication and influencing skills. - You show excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with an ability to think outside the box. - You are driven, accurate and timely in producing results and can manage tasks and schedules effectively. - You should be able to work alone and as part of a team effectively.
