Job Description
Electrical Estimator role at Mastertech Group involves tendering on large-scale projects, liaising with parties, and assembling sub-contract quotes.
Mastertech Group, Ireland's leading HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainability specialists, is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team.
This role provides exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to pharmaceutical, life sciences, construction, and other sectors.
The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
Responsibilities:
- Tendering on a variety of large-scale projects including commercial, pharmaceutical, data centres, healthcare, etc.
- Involved in full tender process from beginning to completion.
- Liaising with relevant parties on an ongoing basis.
- Informing managers of bid prospects.
- Attending pre and post-tender interviews.
- Assembling sub-contract quotes while ensuring they comply with the spec.
- Attending meetings both internal and client-based where required.
- Completing take-offs from tender drawings.
Requirements:
- Degree Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Experience using Trimble would be advantageous.
- Experience using Countfire would be advantageous.
- Trade background would be advantageous.
- Experience in pharmaceutical projects is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office systems required.
- Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
- 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
