Job Description
Experienced Electrical Estimator required to work on Commercial and Light Industrial Projects in Kildare, Ireland.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing tenders, conducting cost-saving measures, and negotiating prices with suppliers and sub-contractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing tenders and cost reports
- Conducting periodic review of work practices to identify cost-saving measures
- Quantifying material, plant, and labour requirements for projects
- Negotiating prices with suppliers and sub-contractors
- Issuing tender queries and preparing tender reports
- Source and categorise pre-project information
- Create a procurement schedule for the project
Requirements:
- Relevant Electrical Qualification (minimum FETAC Level 6 Advanced/Higher Cert)
- 4-5 years experience working as an Electrical Estimator on M&E projects
- Experience working on projects in Ireland or the UK and eligible to work in Ireland without a work permit
- Experience pricing large scale jobs up to €2 Million
- Good communication skills and proven track record in taking tenders from pricing through to final client award
