Job Description As an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technicans you would be a key member of our maintenance team, playing a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical and instrumentation systems within the facility.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems commonly found in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Calibrate and maintain instrumentation devices such as temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, flow meters, and analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Document maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other designated tools.
Participate in training programs to develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge of new technologies relevant to electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to pharmaceutical, life sciences, construction, and other sectors.
Skills and Requirements To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Time served in an engineering technical degree or diploma, or Solas advanced craft certification to level 6, or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
39 hrs per week but there may be a requirement to transition into a shift role at a later stage.
