Electrical Instrumentation Technician
We are seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team at our premises in Ireland and Great Britain.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining analytical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, drafting electrical drawings, and ensuring the safe operation of electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain analytical equipment to ensure accurate readings and reliable operation
- Perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failure and downtime
- Draft electrical drawings to support project development and implementation
- Provide shift cover for annual leave and ensure continuity of operations
- Scope project resources to ensure effective execution and minimize risks
- Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
- Commission electrical projects to ensure safe and reliable operation
Working Conditions
- Work in a fast-paced environment with occasional physical exertion and exposure to the elements
- Collaborate with diverse teams and networks across the industry
Requirements
- 2 years of electrical maintenance or installation experience in a fixed-plant environment
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation installation and maintenance
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC's is beneficial
- Experience in motor control circuits and HV motors & HV switchgear is beneficial
- Calibration of pressure, temperature, level & analytical equipment is essential
- Experience in weighing instrumentation & calibration is beneficial
