EC&I Technician - Graduates welcome to apply! Salary negotiable (dependable on experience) Monday to Friday: 10.00am – 04.00pm This role is site based, working for a highly respected market leader in Athlone. My client, a highly successful market leader in the consumer goods industry are seeking an ECI Technician for their state of the art facility in Athlone. You will play pivotal roles in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance of operating equipment, repair, identifying reliability issues, root cause problem solving and improvement of assets, their availability and the usage of energy and water across site. As an ECI Technician, you will be actively involved in the following tasks: * Carry out day-day maintenance tasks and site repairs to assist operations in achieving maximum productivity and performance. * Working on various production lines to maintain basic conditions of the machinery and perform improvement activities, as well as repairing breakdowns. * Carry out electrical fault-finding and maintenance daily. * Project work – machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement work. * Driving a safe culture and eliminate safety risks. In order to be successful in this role you will need the following skills & experience: * Must have an electrical engineering background and be fully qualified. * Industrial/ Manufacturing experience is preferred (new graduates will be considered). * Fault finding & diagnostic skills. * Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering diagrams. * Knowledge of PLC systems. * Good communicator with a helpful and flexible approach/ proactive in self-learning and development.
