This strategic move is in response to the rising demand for data center power infrastructure, particularly for AI and high-performance computing applications. We seek a self-driven, passionate electrical engineer to join our Presales team and support our continued growth. The ability to work autonomously and a friendly, outgoing personality are key to success in this role. The Presales Electrical Engineer is an important part of an interdisciplinary team of technical experts (mechanical, structural, architectural). You will work collaboratively to bring together schematic design for Data center (Hyperscale, Enterprise, Colocation, Edge, CLS) and Critical Infrastructure facilities. We get to work on various cutting-edge projects, applying theoretical knowledge, practical engineering skills, as well as communicational skills in the fields of Clean Energy, AI and Data center design. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is looking for a challenging career in a dynamic environment. What To Expect As Your Primary Responsibilities Become a critical link between customer and internal team Concept design of Data center electrical power systems and architecture, with traditional and AI design requirements, which includes: LV power distribution (low voltage switchgear, uninterruptible power supply systems, busbar systems) MV power distribution systems (medium voltage switchgear and transformers) Auxiliary systems (AC, DC), lightning protection systems, diesel gensets…. Electrical load calculations, arc flash, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools Electrical single-line diagrams Understanding of relevant codes and standards for electrical power equipment and installations Coordination with other technical disciplines (architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, fire protection) Reading and understanding RFP and tender documents Problem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutions Modular Data center technical solutions and quotations QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering 5-7 years experience Proficient in Electrical power system design  Sizing and specification of electrical equipment and installations  Knowledge of electrical load calculations, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools  Solid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architectures and concepts to deployment  PC skills: active user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), AutoCAD PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS No special physical requirements TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED 5% to other sites in Ireland (Burnfoot and Campsie, Derry) #J-18808-Ljbffr
