Job Description
Electrical Project Engineer role for a pharmaceutical company in Tipperary, Ireland. The position involves managing site capital and expense projects, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications, and overseeing project scheduling and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support engineering requirements by managing and liaising with project stakeholders.
- Assist in project execution and provide guidance to ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes.
- Assess subcontract and supplier tender returns for technical compliance with design specifications.
- Familiarize yourself with project scheduling within the confines of an operating plant.
- Ensure works are installed in accordance with project specifications and change control procedures.
- Understand the project life cycle from concept to qualification and have proven experience in this area.
- Promote a safety culture in the design and execution of projects.
Requirements:
- B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering role.
- Experience working with Electrical systems such as LV Distribution Systems, MCC Installations, VSD, Instrumentation and General Services.
- Understanding of the project life cycle from concept to qualification and proven experience in this area.
- Familiarity with engineering project management tools, financial management skills, and engineering technical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
