Job Description
A renewable energy professional is sought to lead electrical project engineering efforts for utility-scale wind farms.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to BOP design and WTG integration teams.
- Oversee project execution and ensure successful integration of WTGs and power plant controllers.
- Interface with specialists and stakeholders to ensure grid code compliance.
- Manage contract requirements and ensure project scope implementation.
- Specify HV electrical equipment and SCADA systems.
- Facilitate factory acceptance tests and signal list development.
- Review and approve SCADA documentation, test results, and switching procedures.
- Coordinate energisation processes and signal testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Significant experience with SCADA systems, signal interfaces, and industrial communication protocols.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer with electrical background.
- Sound knowledge of Irish and GB Grid Code application and testing.
- Experience with Substation, wind turbine generators, power plant control systems, and hybrid power plant control integration.
- Knowledge of relevant utility automation and replay protection, electrical power systems, and industrial automation systems.
