Projects: Commercial and Residential The Client: Our client stands as a top player in Irelands Mechanical, Electrical, and Maintenance contracting sector. Established in the 90s my client has built a reputation for excellence across diverse industries, including Pharmaceuticals, Data Centres, Healthcare, and large-scale Commercial Projects. With over 23 years in the field, they are committed to expanding and enhancing our team to achieve the highest standards of industry performance. Role Review: They are on the lookout for a proactive Electrical Project Engineer to join their Dublin-based team. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong technical acumen and extensive experience in electrical design, construction, safety, and client engagement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive reviews of design documents, specifications, and schedules to ensure they meet industry standards and project requirements. Oversee the installation of work in line with project specifications and QA plans Develop engineering solutions and produce detailed calculations and sketches for client approval Understand Design/IFC specifications and drawings to grasp the full scope of the project, ensuring compliance with specifications and schedule priorities. This includes generating and managing Requests for Information (RFIs) to the client. Utilize engineering software tools such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech Pro Design, Navisworks, BIM 360, Procore, or similar platforms. Review and coordinate construction drawings and documentation, and prepare technical submittals for client approval. Examine specialist supplier packages to ensure they meet project specifications, industry standards, and design requirements. Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and monitor the procurement schedule. Review and coordinate the BCAR preliminary inspection plan with the quality team, and oversee LEED and BREEAM requirements as directed. Requirements: A Level 7/8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, or Building Services Engineering. At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar industry. Proficiency in IT skills, particularly with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office. Strong time management and problem-solving abilities. Capability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make decisions under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with current electrical, fire alarm, and emergency lighting standards in Ireland. Valid driving licence Skills: Electrical Engineering Project Management high voltage
