Electrical Projects Technician Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Electrical Projects Technician for our client based inCounty Westmeathwho specialises in the Constructionindustry. They are a leading construction material supplier in both the Irish & Great Britain markets.Our client is currently expanding due togrowing infrastructure investment plans and the strength of the residential and construction markets, this has now led them to expanding their team. TheElectrical Projects Technician reporting into the Electrical line manager, will be key in commissioning electrical projects and ensuring its success.The potential candidate will be encouraged to propose new ideas aimed at improving operational efficiency and safety standards This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday role. Responsibilities: Managing preventative maintenance programs and inspectionof equipment to ensure H&S requirements are fulfilled. Liaising withclients & Subcontractors ensuring successful delivery of projects. DraftingElectrical Drawings and ensuring availability of resources before project execution. Commissioning of electrical projects. Ability in identifying problems & identifying the root causes. Ensuring all paperwork is completed in accordance with the equipment and projects and ensuring compliance is being followed. Desired Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical maintenance or installation in a plant environment (preferably heavy engineering). Certified electrician is essential and experience in electrical projects. Knowledge of industrial instrumentation installation and maintenance Experience with the following:motor control circuits, HV motors & HV switchgear, weighing instrumentation & calibration and calibration of pressure, temperature, level & analytical equipment. Knowledge in containment and electrical installations Working conditions occasionally involve physical effort & exposure to the elements.
