MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE The Supervisor gives instruction to his reports and is responsible for the productivity and actions of a group of employees. Key Responsibilities & Duties Supervisory experience of commercial / industrial projects required Reporting to Construction and or Project / Contracts Manager Review of the Scope, Produce RAMS Documents where required Excellent people skills with the ability to build effective working relationship. To lead and motivate & develop group cohesiveness. Ensure all site operations are conducted in strict compliance with company HSQE requirements and standards Daily management, supervision, and reporting, of direct labour resources, plant, safe execution of works and materials allocations Manage and coordinate sub-contractors on site Assist with testing and commissioning Post construction survey and compilation of accurate information to prepare As-Built records Ensure works are conducted to a high standard while complying with building regulations, National Rules for Electrical Installations, Health and Safety and environmental standards. Plan short-range action-steps to carry out goals set by Line Management. Ensure that the project team comply with company standards, policies and procedures (MIMS). General (All Employees) Participate in, and positively promote, the Murphy Never Harm Programme Undertake any reasonable duties expected of you. Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety and any other legal requirements Ensure compliance with the Company policies and procedures Manage the performance of all employees assigned to you in accordance with legislation and company procedures. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: An Electrical engineering qualification or an Electrical trade background. 10+ years previous experience in gained within an electrical environment, preferably for a services contractor. A minimum of 3 years in a Site Supervisory role. Experience working on a commercial and industrial project would be beneficial. Must have worked for an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK Must be driven and be able to work off their own initiative The successful Electrical Supervisor must be in Ireland or the UK at present and be eligible to work in Ireland without requiring a work permit Must be proficient in MS Office. Experience on Solar and renewable projects (EV charging, BESS), a distinct advantage. ET&V (QC) Cert a distinct advantage.
