Job Description: We seek an Electrical Supervisor to lead a team of Electricians at a client site in Westmeath. The ideal candidate will be a Trade Qualified Electrician or Degree Qualified Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in managing a team. This person will mentor apprentices, delegate tasks, and be the technical expert within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in developing a safe work culture
- Supervise contract personnel and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Scope, budget, plan, and execute electrical projects
- Design and implement electrical project and infrastructure work
- Liaise with stakeholders and identify opportunities for the electrical team
- Liaise with suppliers and consultants to resolve technical issues
- Oversee and develop electrical documentation and drawings
- Assist in resolving electrical issues out-of-hours
- Deputise for the electrical line manager
Requirements:
- Trade Qualified Electrician or Degree Qualified Electrical Engineer
- Proven track record in managing a team of Electricians
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Effective communication skills
- High level of problem-solving skills and technical awareness
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and standards
