Electrical Supervisor Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to plan and execute electrical, instrumentation, and control projects for a cement plant in Ireland. Breedon is a leading construction and materials group in Ireland and Great Britain with a group turnover of approximately €1.6 billion per annum. We are committed to keeping it simple, making it happen, and striving to improve. **Job Responsibilities** • Provide leadership in developing a safe work culture in the plant by supporting various safety initiatives. • Supervise contract personnel and ensure all safety systems and procedures are followed. • Scope, budget, plan, and execute electrical projects. • Design, plan, and implement electrical project and infrastructure work, supervising this work where necessary. • Identify and liaise with key stakeholders during project design and execution stages. • Liaise with suppliers and consultants to resolve technical issues and develop relationships outside the company. • Oversee and develop the electrical documentation and drawings system. • Assist in resolving electrical issues out-of-hours when necessary. • Deputise for the electrical line manager from time to time. **Requirements** • Continuously update knowledge and attend training when required. • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic approach to the job and set high standards for oneself and co-workers. • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. • Effective communication with all plant staff and senior management. • High level of problem-solving skills and technical awareness. • Proficient in Auto CAD and MS Office. • Team worker. • Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and standards. • Instrumentation & Controls. • Experience in Programmable Logic Control (PLC). **Benefits** • Attractive salary. • 25 days of holiday. • Contributory pension scheme. • Employee assistance programme. • Ongoing career and personal development. • "Make a difference day" scheme. • Life assurance. • Bike to Work scheme. • Share save scheme.
