Job Description
Manage electrical, instrumentation, and control aspects of projects at a cement plant. Lead safety initiatives, supervise contractors, and liaise with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture
- Supervise contract personnel and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Plan, budget, and execute electrical projects on time and within scope
- Design and implement electrical infrastructure projects
- Engage with stakeholders throughout project design and execution
- Maintain and develop electrical documentation and drawings systems
- Provide out-of-hours support for electrical issues
- Act as deputy for the electrical line manager during absences
Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician with a completed apprenticeship or equivalent certification
- Proven maintenance experience in an industrial or plant setting
- Strong technical expertise, including Auto CAD and MS Office
- Experience with instrumentation, controls, and PLC systems
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with technical awareness
- Effective communication skills with senior management
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong team player who collaborates effectively with others
