Job Description

Purpose of the Job We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with an electrical trade background to work as part of a site based maintenance team. Candidates must have hands on experience in dealing with planned preventative maintenance and fault finding. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintenance Technician (Electrical) Liaise with subcontractors to arrange and supervise planned preventative maintenance on site Coordinate with site maintenance technician to complete all PPM and reactive requests Ensure all CBRE paperwork complete, correct and up to date for the site Complete planned preventative maintenance of Electrical systems Complete all site lighting repairs and replacements Reactive repairs ensuring minimum downtime on equipment Meet service level agreements and respond to emergency breakdowns across site Ensure all QHSE requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencing Ability to complete handyman tasks as required Specify and order materials as needed for works and ensure stock levels of critical spares are kept updated Problem solving ensuring a solution for all required repairs in a timely manner Liaise with helpdesk, Management and customers with updates on a daily basis Supervise subcontractors onsite to ensure a comprehensive contractor management system, including H&S Positively and actively contribute to and participate in continuous improvement activities in the team Working as part of a team on multi-disciplined projects High standard of housekeeping, material handling and safety at all times Certification and experience in IS3217 Emergency light testing desirable Ensure high standards are maintained on M&E systems Person Specification Trade qualified Electrician with at least 5 years experience Must be client focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Have experience in completing and operating to method statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Actions and Permits associated with their work activities Experience in HVAC desirable Have completed H&S training Ability to work on own initiative Flexibility to work outside normal hours if required Ability to complete paper work and reports to high standards Enthusiastic approach to work Neat appearance and manner Ability to work professionally within client premises IT literacy an advantage, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office Skills: Electrical Electrician Electrical Engineering Facilities Management Benefits: Medical Aid / Health Care Paid Holidays Parking Pension Fund
