Embedded Software Engineer for Computer Vision Machine Learning A talented software engineer is needed to implement and improve computer vision algorithms for smart home security products. Ring is a leading provider of smart home security solutions, committed to making neighborhoods safer. They offer a range of products, including video doorbells and DIY security systems. **Key Responsibilities:** • Implement and improve computer vision algorithms for high-performance detection and classification at exceptionally low power consumption • Collaborate with applied science teams to implement on-device features and deliver exciting customer experiences • Work with product teams and QA to ensure features meet desired functionality and quality • Contribute to the architecture and design of new and current systems • Code, test, maintain, and deploy software to millions of existing devices **Requirements:** • Experience in embedded development in C/C++ • Knowledge of ARM CPUs and professional software engineering best practices • Experience with machine learning and deep learning models on edge • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills • Proficient data analysis and troubleshooting skills **Preferred Qualifications:** • Experience implementing computer vision machine learning algorithms on edge • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and embedded Linux • Experience with software testing and Python programming Ring is an equal opportunities employer, committed to diversity and success.
